The photo on the Tragedy's Workshop homepage was taken by the author while traveling Greece. Specifically it is a picture of a scene on the island of Patmos, and more specifically just outside the door of the Cave of the Apocalypse where St. John wrote Revelations. The view in the distance is of the Aegean and small islands close by. The darkness at the bottom of the photo is from the stairwell where you descend steps, turn to the right and encounter the door to the church wherein the Cave resides. Metaphorically, the sea and islands represent the external journey through life; the darkness below and the door to the cave represent the journey within where we find God. The red flowers represent love, which lines the path to Him.
